This 8 x 8 Octagon Chinese Silk Rug brings a classic Persian-inspired design to a rare eight-sided shape. A large star medallion in teal and turquoise sits at the center of a rust-red field, surrounded by a rich all-over pattern of rosettes, small medallions and olive-green accents in the spirit of Tabriz and Mamluk designs.

The field is framed by an ivory guard border and wide navy and teal borders with flowing ivory scrollwork and gold floral details. Cream tassel fringe finishes all eight sides. The silk pile has a natural sheen that brings out the fine detail and the depth of the colors as the light changes.
